It all depends! Chronic health conditions have taken time to manifest in your body and will take time to repair. This way of healing takes time and commitment to changing the habits and conditions that created your ill health. However, this doesn’t mean you need to keep seeing me regularly or indefinitely. Often an initial block of regular sessions will get you into better habits and lay the foundations for increased health and then either you will feel confident to go onwards on your own or you might want to check in once every few months to a year to fine tune your focus. This is why I offer different packages. Ideally, for this approach, seeing each other every 2-3 weeks for 6-9 months is best but I can tailor what I offer to what works for you

Food is meant to bring joy and enjoyment into our lives not be another source of stress. We will never start by forbidding foods, rather we will focus on increasing nutrient dense foods in your diet . However, sometimes our tastes are not good for our health and if this is the case I will work with you to find delicious alternatives to foods you enjoy that aren’t doing your body any favours. So, yes, sometimes some foods will need to be taken off the menu. Often this doesn’t have to be forever, just long enough for your gut to heal and your body to find a better balance. After this some foods can be re-introduced and eaten occasionally but there are a few common things that should never be called food and the aim will be to transition away from these things long term.

Although I do have experience with some conditions like Lyme disease, auto immune disease and Cancer I haven’t specialised in any specific health conditions. If you feel your condition is very complex or you’ve tried a lot of different approaches that haven’t worked get in touch and we can talk about how and if I can help you. I can often refer you to practitioners who have specialised training and experience in specific things. However, the other side to this is that many things come back down to the basics of cellular health and by putting these foundational practices into place you can make a big difference to any health condition.

Easy! Book a free 20 min discovery call. Here we will go over what you are looking for and your basic health picture. You get to meet me and get a feel for who I am and how I work. If you’re happy and I feel I can support your needs then you go ahead and book the package that suits you. If not, there is no obligation to follow on.

Once you’ve decided to work with me and booked your first session you will be sent health forms asking about your current and past health history, any family health conditions and your current diet and life style. These will need to be completed and returned to me 48 hours before your scheduled session. This will enable me to get a sense of your current health picture before we meet and will mean we can make the best use of our face to face time. After our first session we will agree how often you want to meet and set up your next sessions.

I offer email support for everyone on my packages. This is limited to one email enquiry a week and is useful if you need product recommendations , a few recipe tips or pantry cupboard ideas or just to clarify any suggestions I’ve given you in previous sessions.
If, once we start working together, you feel you would benefit from more regular contact and support then I offer 30 min online coaching calls between sessions to help you keep motivated and fine tune any of your protocols. Scheduling and payment for these would be agreed between us.

Nutrition isn’t like many other alternative health modalities that offer support for your face to face time but nothing otherwise. There is a lot of background research, writing up detailed and personalised plans and recommendations and sending out recipe suggestions and other information. Much of the work is ‘behind the scenes’!
So during your face to face time we will go over current symptoms, check in what has changed, or not, since we last met and how easy it has been to implement any suggestions. After each session I will send you a report including all recommendations for diet, lifestyle and supplements that we covered in the session as well as any resources you might need in order to do these easily. Over time we will fine tune our inputs in response to your experiences.
I can offer discounts on supplements, give you recipe ideas and other resources and am available for limited email contact between sessions if you need advice.
